We are looking for a dedicated Medical Director to ensure the
efficient operation of our healthcare facility. The Medical
Director's responsibilities include coordinating medical teams,

Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and
development of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric clients
served by BPRCC. Demonstrate the ability to apply these principles

Provide effective clinical leadership to the organization,
clinical staff, and medical students, fellows and residents placed
at BRPCC for training, in the provision of primary medical care to
adult and geriatric clients. Actively participate in
multi-disciplinary case review conferences and conduct periodic
chart review sessions with the medical team.
Provide appropriate and effective medical care including
assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral as required for adult
and geriatric clients.
Effectively provide on-site and telephone consultation with
nurse practitioners within the framework of the N.P./M.D. written
agreement and serve as a professional resource for other BRPCC
providers. This includes active participation in staff education
initiatives, programs and BRRPCC committees, as appropriate.
Effectively hire, supervise and evaluate performance of the
physician and nurse practitioner staff and volunteers. Conduct
performance evaluations of the physician and nurse practitioner
staff on a regularly scheduled basis (at least annually).
Ensure the provision of effective supervision of Certified
Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered
Nurses either through direct provision or oversight of a delegated

Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
Possesses a registered physician’s license in Louisiana.
