Job Description:
The Neuroscience--Nurse provides care to patients with medical
and surgical neuroscience complications. These specialized nurses
are--NIHSS Certified and are trained to provide--assessments and
specialized treatment plans on patients within--the hospital
with--signs of symptoms of a stroke. Neuroscience nurses are
highly-skills and possess a sophisticated knowledgebase to
provide--exceptional care to patients effected by--Seizures,
Stroke, Neuromuscular Diseases, Spinal Disorders, Brain and Spinal
Tumors, and Post-Operative Surgeries.Delivers high quality
patient-focused health care services that meet the assessed and
individually planned needs and desires of all patients on the
assigned nursing unit. JOB SPECIFICATIONSMinimum EducationDiploma,
Associate's--or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited RN program
Required Certification/RegistrationCurrent--unrestricted Louisiana
RN license and BLS certification#CB
