Job Description:

We're looking for Cash & Liquidity Manager at our Corporate Office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to assume responsibility for the ownership over treasury management and best in class treasury operations with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and policy/regulatory compliance.

Benefits Overview:

Compensation Overview:

The starting salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 / year, dependent on experience and qualifications. We also offer end of year bonus opportunities, dependent on tenure and job performance. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile the daily cash activity
  • Process emergency payments and wires when required
  • Ensure adequate funding of all disbursement accounts
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of the short/ long term investment strategies
  • Maintain current inventory of bank accounts, authorized signers and bank contacts
  • Prepare documentation for changes in bank account structures, including opening and closing of accounts
  • Prepare bank performance assessments and bank fee analysis
  • Maintain relevant procedures documentation
  • Assist VP Corporate Finance with special projects
  • Implement process improvements to optimize treasury activities, automate functions and increase internal controls
  • Adhere to internal controls in place for all relevant treasury activities
  • Prepare management reports and performance measurement of treasury activities

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements

  • Ability to interact with other functional departments in a professional manner and motivate change
  • Strong knowledge of cash management and liquidity, including bank management
  • Ability to lead teams and drive a high performing culture
  • Knowledge of treasury operations and regulations
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems
  • Working know ledge of multiple electronic banking platforms
  • Know ledge of treasury-related controls. compliance practices and Sarbanes Oxley, as well as treasury-related accounting and disclosures
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, research analysis and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and well organized

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5-8 years relevant Finance experience
  • Knowledge of cash management technical operations and bank account administration, as well as understanding of banking products and services
  • Experience with international liquidity management. including cash forecasting
  • Knowledge of treasury-related controls, compliance practices and SOX as well as treasury-related accounting and disclosures
  • Working knowledge of multiple electronic banking platforms
  • Certified Financial Advisor (CFAJ, or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) strongly preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The primary work environment is an office
  • The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
  • Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 5%.
