Position Purpose:

Position Purpose: Maximizes the productivity of all delivery resources (drivers, trailers, and vehicles) to ensure that rental assets are delivered and picked up on time. The Logistics Coordinator schedules drivers and plans routes using current routing software. Maintain open communication with drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Effectiveness 35%: Ensures on-time delivery of 90% or better. Ensures that equipment pick-up is executed in 2 days or less. Partner with General Rental Associate (GRA) to ensure that all equipment is staged and ready for DST. Verify all DST preloaded equipment prior to the end of the business day. Assign all unassigned deliveries or pick-ups in current routing software prior to end of day. Responsible for using dispatch software for timely repair services. Ensure all deliveries and pick-ups are scheduled by 2pm each day.
Customer Experience & Sales 30%: Partners with the Contact Center on prospective rentals. Complete daily pick-up confirmation calls. Partners with the Rental Sales Representative to assist with sales inquiries, appointments, equipment availability, and other opportunities. Troubleshoot trouble reports daily and partner to resolve.
Workflow & Prioritization 25%: Ensure the DST daily hours are planned - give instructions to fully utilize time on other duties as needed. Partner with Rental Repair Supervisor and/or Branch Manager on outside repairs needing transport. Manage trucks to full capacity - units going and coming. Work in partnership with RRS/ROS in scheduling deployments.
Compliance, Safety & Training 10%: Time Promotes overall safety of ROF and associates. Perform all work and assignments in accordance with proper safety practices. Maintain regulatory compliance and DOT driving standards.

This position reports to the Rental Operations Supervisor.

Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Working Conditions:
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentation
Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers
