FULL-TIME ADMISSIONS for OUTPATIENT FACILITYINTAKE DEPARTMENT MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM JOB AVAILABLE
Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, newly constructed in 2018 - state of the art facility conveniently located at 9938 airline highway in the heart of the city at the intersection of I-12 and Airline Hwy.Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for intakes and completing inquiry forms
• Reviews packets for criteria and updates intake logs
• Collects data for QAPI on intakes
• Communicates with physicians and Director of Nursing about possible admissions
• Initiates demographics on face sheets, episodes of care and insurance information for new admits and puts new patient charts together
• Completes insurance verifications as patients accepted by physician
• Gather clinical information and get prior auth and concurrent auths from insurance companies.
• Write appeals on the denied auth claims and follow up on the appeals.Skills Needed:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Should be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Organized and self-disciplined
  • Thorough documentation and communication skillsEducation/Experience/License required:
