Job Description:
Responsibilities:
-We are searching for a talented Systems Administrator to become
part of Peraton's Citizens Security & Public Services, and S&L
Regional Account team. This position will be remote. -What you'll
do:The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the following,
but not limited to:Lead the efforts for continual process and
quality improvement to deliver reliable end-to-end middleware,
scheduling, web services, and host infrastructureProvide advanced
expertise for the administration, configuration and support of
applicationsExperience in managing enterprise web application and
automation processes in a highly visible production environmentLead
and execute the analysis of new and existing architectures,
troubleshoot legacy and new platforms and services to set long term
strategic direction, and ensure infrastructure meet reliability and
functional expectations throughout the environment lifecycle using
industry standards and best practicesWork with Enterprise
Architects, Project Managers, Vendors and Developers to define and
implement a new services and processes while maintaining existing
platformsEnsure operational documentation and run-books are up to
date, reviewed and reliableProvide emergency response as needed to
correct system failuresManage system performance, tuning,
monitoring, and activity of all systems related to daily
operationsEnsure secure operation of applications and operating
systems with patches and upgrades while maintaining applicable
security compliance along with application and OS hardening.Perform
daily health checks on al l aspects of supported systems to ensure
fitness and reliability
Qualifications:
-Required Qualifications:--- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
or Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering
or a related discipline from an accredited institution and 10 years
of relevant experience or 14 years of related experience with a
high school diploma or 12 years of related experience with an
Associate's degree will satisfy degree and work experience
requirement.--- At least 5 years of Linux and Windows Server
Operating Systems experience--- At least 5 years of LDAP, DNS, TLS,
Load Balancers, and Firewalls experience--- Possess strong
understanding of enterprise networking including NAT, Router, VLAN,
switches, wireless, and wired communications--- At least 5 years of
experience with any Enterprise scheduling software preferably with
IBM Workload Automation (IWS)--- Knowledge of middleware with
design and administration experience--- Experience supporting Web
applications and hosting platforms--- Knowledge of API integrations
with third-party software--- Experience scripting to automate
routine tasks--- Solid organizational abilities and aptitude to
work independently and with a team--- Ability to manage multiple
assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment--- Ability
to train and mentor associates--- Must be either a US Citizen or
Permanent Resident (Green Card) holder - -Desired
qualifications:--- Experience managing NetIQ Access Manager (NAM)
and Citrix NetScaler in an enterprise environment --- Knowledge of
J2EE Application servers such as WebLogic, Websphere, Jboss,
Apache, Tomcat, Adobe LiveCycle / AEM--- Experience administering
API integrations with MOVEit, Sterling Connect:Direct, and
Tableau--- Knowledge of Metadirectories (i.e. Active Directory,
eDirectory, and RACF) and Identify Management--- Expertise with
forward and reverse proxies and Security Gateways--- Strong
understanding of encryption, TLS, certificates, keystores and
Truststore--- Strong background in automating processes with
command scripting languages--- Experience administering software
and services on Linux (SLES or RHEL) and Windows Server version
2008 and higher--- Demonstrate self-motivation and problem solving
skills along with the ability to grasp new concepts -At Peraton,

Salary Range:
Salary Minimum: $57,500
Salary Mid: $115,000
Salary Maximum: $143,800
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this
position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation
package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses,
short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In
