Were happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours, patterns, and locations to suit you and the business.Ideal BackgroundEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. - Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting is preferred. -Certification: Certification is not required at this level. -Experience: This position requires up to 2 years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design or related coursework. - - -Generally responsible for performing routine designs of less complex design assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This work will be performed under direct supervision.

• Knowledge and application of piping materials in respect to drafting.
• Drafting of utility and process piping drawings, P&IDs and GAs.
• Knowledge and application of company engineering design and CAD drafting standards.
• Working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and Microstation.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.What You'll Be Doing
  • Familiarity with and utilizing department design and drafting standards.
  • Familiarity with project scope, specifications and design criteria upon assignment to a project task team.
  • Assisting in accomplishing drafting activities in preparing piping drawings, P&IDs and GAs. - -
