**Job Description****Job Description:**+ This position is for a
Solutions architect position reporting to the Education Center of
Excellence Leader in the in SMG (Sales and Marketing Group) of
Intel. This person will work with the Intel business units and
Intel field sales teams to position the right IA-based technologies
for the customer and drive solution efforts with partners to
maximize the benefit of Intel technologies in education vertical to
ultimately grow Intel Architecture adoption with solutions and
services.**The successful candidate will be responsible, but not
limited to:**+ Responsible for architecting cross business unit
industry based solutions, advising Education segment customers by
working with partners and Intel stakeholders, advising and
influencing the right solutions for Intel end user customers, ISVs,
OEMs, SIs and other partners by distilling the capabilities of
IA-based platforms and translating to the unique Intel value
proposition.+ Responsible for translating business/customer
requirements into platform architecture encompassing hardware,
software, SoCs and other components designed to support a variety
of systems, solutions and applications.+ Design, develop, and
analyze overall platform architecture and partitioning between
hardware and software to meet use cases and workloads in terms of
performance, scalability, manageability, reliability, and security
requirements.+ Leads architectural governance and decisions related
to solution definition for new use cases as part of a cross
functional architecture decision group.+ Provide technical
direction for platform andsolution design activities.+ Influences
the shaping of future products/solutions by significantly
contributing to the architecture and technology employed throughout
the compute continuum.+ Provides multilayered technical expertise
for next generation initiatives.**A successful candidate must
demonstrate:**+ Understanding of software systems used in education
vertical and aaS applications and services.+ Must be comfortable
providing demonstrations of the technologies that they will be
working with.+ Must be comfortable building a relationship with the
customers' CIO/CTO/CISO, understand their needs and influence their
direction to achieve their goals by leveraging IA-based solutions.+
Proven seasoned solution sales professional with a deep
understanding of solution sales and the ability to solve customer
business needs through innovative application of Intel-based
solutions. Broad industry knowledge along with a deep understanding
of Intel's architectures and ecosystem components.+ Proven
experience in driving complex competitive solution sales scenarios,
working in a collaborative environment, and taking leadership of
driving opportunities to closure.+ Strong results-oriented,
proactive, confident under pressure and demonstrated skills in
solution selling.+ Strong leadership skills, planning, excellent
communication, virtual-team engagement, time management,
negotiation and presentation skills are essential.+ Building
relationships with key account executives, understanding customer
business problems, and helping them solve their problems using
Intel-based solutions, therefore positioning Intel as the thought
leader in solving challenging business problems.+ Leverage personal
network and domain expertise to open doors to develop new
opportunities. Act as a technical liaison between customer and
Product Groups.**Qualifications****You must possess the below
minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this

sponsorship** **.****Minimum Qualifications:****Bachelors in
Computer Science/Engineering, EE or related technical field****5+
yrs experience in solution architecture type of roles or CTO
experience in education end customer****Preferred
Qualifications:****Candidate must have knowledge of Education
vertical, understanding of procurement procedures and timing, sales
cycle, solutions used, etc.****Deep domain expertise in IT systems
in general, from edge to cloud including network.****Deep domain
expertise on how Public-Sector and Education Organizations
benchmark, certify and define specifications to procure
technologies.****Knowledge on vPro, security, manageability,
Windows 10 and Intel Core based platforms in addition to data
center, edge and network platforms.****Inside this Business

Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New
York, Washington, California: $136,750.00-$232,630.00*Salary range
dependent on a number of factors including location and
experience**Working Model**This role is available as a fully
home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites
only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be
available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split
their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and
off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to
accommodate business needs.**
