SUMMARY: -The -Remediation Specialist is a mid-level position in the Site Evaluation & Remediation Services Group. Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced environmental staff. The employee will work on a wide range of projects including soil and groundwater investigations, remediation projects, and Environmental Site Assessments. - -MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -(Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): -

---Bachelors and / or Masters in Geology/Hydrogeology, Environmental Sciences, Soil Sciences, or closely related fields and 5+ years of related experience - -5+ years in environmental consulting -Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with an attention to detail and focus on thoroughness. - -Excellent time management skills including the ability to juggle multiple projects and multitask throughout the day. - -Highly proficiency in analytical and organizational skills -Proficiency with Microsoft Office - -The ability to work and think independently. -PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: - - -

Ability to travel overnight (20-35%). -Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain, sometimes for extended periods of time. -Willing to work flexible hours and locations - -ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -

Conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM standards -Develop, implement and manage various soil and groundwater investigations and remedial projects - -Coordinate field activity preparations - -Conduct drilling oversight, soil logging, monitoring well installation and aquifer testing - -Preparing cost estimates and proposals -Working knowledge of state and federal regulations for remediation, and waste handling and disposal. -Recording data, preparing reports, providing analysis and interpretations - ---- - - -Powered by JazzHR
