Location: Baton Rouge, LA - the Capital of Louisiana - the metropolitan area is the second-largest in Louisiana with a population of 800,000 plus residents. City is adjacent to the Mississippi River and has two major universities - Louisiana State and Southern University. Just over one hour to New Orleans. Facility: Group is a multi-specialty neuroscience private practice that has over 30 physicians, including neurosurgeons, neurologists, physical medicine & rehabilitation/pain physicians, neuropsychologists, and neuroradiologists. Their main clinic has an in-house imaging center with 2 MRI's, and a neurodiagnostic lab (EEG, EMG/NCS, ultrasound, echo), sleep lab, outpatient physical therapy and occupational therapy departments. Included on our campus are our own physician owned surgical hospital and a inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Opportunity: Seeking an MS trained Neurologist, or someone with that interest and experience. Walk into a large patient panel of a very experienced MS Neurologist. Large neurology department so call is minimal. Monday through Friday schedule with outpatient role only as Neurohospitalists are on staff. Great mentorship opportunity, and they are looking to add 2 MS staff for next summer due to patient demand. Compensation: Two year guarantee plus achievable RVU structure. Year three is a switch to production and accompanying partnership if desired. Neurologists are eligible to become stockholders after 2 years with minimal buy-in, and will also have opportunity to participate/invest in their physician-owned Rehabilitation and Surgical Hospitals.
