Job Overview:Hannis T. Bourgeois is actively looking for a qualified IT Technician to support a fast-growing multiple office, multi-disciplined team. The technician will also be responsible for resolving help desk tickets, setting up new workstations, and supporting line of business applications.
A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Configure workstations and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)
• Install and configure appropriate software according to specifications
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and security systems
• Communicate progress of ongoing improvement projects and issue resolution activities to management
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate software and computer environment
• Maintain detailed records/logs of issues, repairs, and fixes inside centralized ticket system
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve onsite problems (repair or replace parts, resolve printer issues, debugging, etc.)
• Travel to other office locations periodically to provide onsite support

  Education and/or Experience:
  • Degree in Computer Information Systems or relevant field
  • 2-5 experience as IT Technician or relevant position
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skill set
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Experience with Powershell preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Admin Portal preferred
  • Experience with Connectwise / Automate preferred
  • Experience with Wolters Kluwer CCH Suite preferred
  • Experience with ProSystem Engagement preferred
