Dow Louisiana Operations (LAO) TES is looking for their next
Turnaround Services Group Leader to be in Plaquemine, LA.
About you
The Turnaround Services Group Leader drives significant value to
Dow by driving turnaround excellence across the Louisiana Site.
This role shares responsibility and accountability for delivering
safe, efficient, and effective turnarounds (TA). They (1) supervise
and drive talent growth & development of TA Planners, Coordinators,
and Material Coordinator/Controllers, (2) Set priorities for the
team to ensure strategy implementation and task completion, (3)
drive continuous improvement in TA Planning, Coordination, and
Materials Management.
As the group leader, you also act as the primary back-up to the
Site Turnaround Director and share accountability for the
performance and results of the team and M.I. Plan actions. As a
leader, the incumbent fosters a work environment with a high level
of integrity and strong customer and safety focus that embraces
inclusion and diversity, innovation and sustainability, continuous
improvement, and empowerment.
Also, you can complete each of the following tasks:
Partner with the Turnaround Director to drive strong EH&S and
Quality performance and Culture.
Develop turnaround planners, coordinators, and material management
employees and ensures career success via goal setting, performance
management, promotion processes, and employee development
planning.
Lead and conduct recruiting and interviews for growth and
replacement roles to build a diverse and sustainable team.
Ensure applicable corporate/regional best practices, operating
discipline, and tools are fully implemented and effectively
utilized.
Lead and support improvement charters and initiatives to deliver
continuous improvement and regional alignment.
Lead and support assigned Site TA related Strategy/Pillar action
items.
Required qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant
military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty
Officer 2nd Class ranking is required.
A minimum of seven (7) years' experience in Maintenance and/or
operations within the Petrochemical Industry.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work
legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is
available for this position, including for any type of U.S.
permanent residency (green card) process.
Your preferred qualifications include:
Turnaround experience preferred.
Excellent written and oral communications skills preferred.
Inspirational Leadership skills preferred.
