unique skills and experience.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this
role, you'll work in one of our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC)
in either Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Monroe Louisiana, or Lansing,
Michigan where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to
a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.
These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical
expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.As an
Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll serve as a leader in defining
solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while
guiding the technical team to implementation.You'll collaborate
with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the
business problem and requirements, constraints of the system and
concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform
detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.Your primary
responsibilities include:Analyze and translate IT requirements
using modernization frameworks into components of a modernized
solution.Develop and test applications in cloud environments and be
part of Delivery/Engagement teams.Reuse and enhance Digital
modernization assets, methods, and collateral.Collaborate in the
design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions and
services for our customer's needs.Successful candidates for these
positions will work on-site at one of our IBM Client Innovation
Center in Baton Rouge, LA, Monroe, LA or Lansing, Michigan. The IBM
Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we
support our clients from one of our Baton Rouge, Monroe or Lansing
center. Some travel is expected, and all candidates must be willing
and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel
is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the
client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel
approximately 50% of the time. This is a traditional office
position. You must live in, or be willing to relocate to LOUISIANA
OR MICHIGAN to within 30 days of starting with IBM.Required
Technical and Professional Expertise5+ years experience of
designing architecture solutions with supporting documentation for
multiple points of integration (with various servers, applications,
platforms, etc.)Experience with Container Migration, Container
Architecture, and ConversionExperience with Cloud migration to one
of the following Clouds: Red Hat, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
platform, or IBM CloudExperience with Containerization (i.e.
Docker, Kubernetes, etc)Experience with continuous
integration/continuous deliveryPreferred Technical and Professional
ExpertiseDevelopment experience in any of the following
technologies and opinions on how to use them correctly: Java and/or
Web Technologies (i.e. C#, .NET, SWL, etc).Experience with Spring
Core, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, RabbitMQ,
Gemfire, Git/Git Hub. Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus and/or

compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a
full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary
depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay
increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with

your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your
hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during
