best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Partner directly with the
UHC Underwriting to support Production and testing of capabilities
related to Automated rating and renewal Perform analysis and
support related to database loads and ETL jobs (SSIS) across
multiple environments Support and understand the rating formulas
and factors, system workflow Perform data and process analysis
required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the
resolution of data issues Create and maintain SQL Stored Procedures
Utilize SQL-based systems to solve business problems Work with
multiple deadlines with minimal supervision Become a subject matter
expert for others Perform needs assessments and help implement
processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production
data is always accurate and available Write SQL or other data
markup scripting Contribute to system architecture and meta data
documentation, data models, and SQL jobs to populate data models
Write unit/integration tests and document work Work closely with a
team of ETL Analysts, developers, product managers, and analysts
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract,
company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such
as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different
work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in
regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment,
alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise
due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt,

Required Qualifications: BS or MS degree with preference in IT
(Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or
another quantitative field) 2+ years of SQL experience (working
with relational databases, query authoring (SQL Server) as well as
working familiarity with a variety of databases) 2+ years of
programming (software programming or configuration within the
framework of an application) 2+ years of experience working within
the Software Development Life Cycle within a corporate environment
Microsoft Excel and/or Access experience including complex
formulas, calculations, macros, VBA, SQL Server, etc. Experience
performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and
processes to answer specific business questions and identify
opportunities for improvement Experience supporting and working
with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment Preferred
Qualifications: Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting
skills Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen
sense of customer service Process oriented with great documentation
