This is a great position for an Estimator looking to expand and build there career with a stable company!Why join us?The Estimator will review specifications, blueprints/drawings; applies federal, state and local requirements to generate project estimates using estimating and other industry-specific software (HCSS or similar); leverage historical data on labor, materials, equipment and other factors used to generate total cost estimates; interact with actual and prospective clients to develop, improve and maintain improve business relationships; and understand clients' needs and provides creative, cost-effective, safe solutions to solve clients' challenges.Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. As a Permanent Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all projects are completed within budget and on time. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and accurate.Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for all construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Analyze blueprints and other project documents to determine project requirements and specifications.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that all cost estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
• Identify potential cost savings opportunities and provide recommendations to project teams.
• Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and vendors to ensure that all bids are competitive and meet project requirements.
• Prepare and submit project budgets and cost reports to project teams and senior management.
• Provide ongoing support to project teams throughout the construction process, including monitoring project costs and providing regular updates on project progress.
• Ensure that all estimates are completed in a timely and accurate manner, and that all projects are completed within budget and on time.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a civil estimator or construction estimator.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential cost savings opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with construction estimating software
  • Knowledge of civil construction and engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
