Job Description:
Analyst will support Center's researchers with multimedia support,
provide technical guidance in multimedia production and
dissemination. Analyst will also provide support for end user
systems not limited to desktop services, multimedia editing, and
data center resources. Analyst will track assets and recommend
computer resources, audio and video assets. Analyst will also
participate in HPC tasks to support system administrators.
Job Responsibilities:
Multimedia Development: Provide on-site and remote/cloud-based
support for multimedia presentations. CCT venues include a theater,
conference rooms, classrooms, and studios. Control systems include
Meyer Sound Constellation System, Crestron control systems (Audio,
Video, Lights), Soundcraft Vi4 Mixing Board and Vi Stagebox etc.
Conferencing systems may include tools such as Zoom, Teams and
similar services. Be able to diagnose system and operational issues
to assist on site or remote presenters. Develop documentation and
train students to assist event participants. (40%)
User Desktop support: Be able to support users with systems and
services. CCT uses Windows, Mac, and Linux desktops. Analyst
primarily supports Windows and Mac systems and users. Be able to
prepare and image systems for various user groups in the Center.
Keep images updated for faster turnaround. Know/learn scripting
tools to automate tasks. Interface with users and implement policy
changes for efficient operations while complying with operating
policies. (30%)
Systems Monitoring: Be able to track status of AV systems for
monitoring purposes. Be able to monitor status of desktop systems
and proactively remediate status. Monitor vendor and professional
groups for new/alerts impacting systems and services being
monitored. Patch systems (AV and computing) for security
vulnerabilities and operational efficiency. Track, monitor, and
update content related to functional area on CCT website or AV
forums. (10%)
Remain abreast with technology/trends and practices. Participate in
enterprise professional meetings for Technology Support Providers.
Learn about server infrastructure and avenues to support systems
administrators. Learn about Windows servers, Active Directory and
Group Policies. (10%)
Special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years experience working with
multimedia systems, managing/coordinating conferences and
interfacing with presenters, familiarity with Zoom, Teams etc.,
maintenance of Windows and Apple systems, interface with clients
and be able to gather requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree and 1 year experience working with Meyer Sound
Constellation System, Crestron control systems (Audio, Video,
Lights), Soundcraft Vi4 Mixing Board and Vi Stagebox etc.
Experience imaging and deploying Windows and Apple systems.
Experience with Active Directory group policies. Ph.D. may
substitute two years of experience.
