Overview
GovCIO is looking for a polished, results-driven professional to
join our team as a Senior ServiceNow Architect. The candidate will
lead the development of government services and systems with a
focus on user-centered design and agile delivery processes. As a
ServiceNow Architect, you will apply your agility, innovation, and
expertise to build and enhance existing government platforms and
leading an agile team of personnel to define and execute customized
ServiceNow application delivery.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Architect, you will lead the development, maintenance
and expansion of a set of custom developed and Out of the Box (OOB)
ServiceNow applications utilizing the Now Platform and in the
ServiceNow Cloud and focused on ITSM and/or App Engine. This will
include front and back-end components connected to a blended
technology stack and also focus on interconnecting these ServiceNow
functions into legacy systems. Additionally, as a part of a broader
team, you will contribute to the review, approval, oversight and
implementation of client specific platform enhancements.
Lead multi-disciplined agile scrum teams of varying sizes in the
development strategy, planning and execution of customized/OOB
application development/configuration within the Now Platform
Lead the architecture and rapid development of both lightweight
back-end services and front-end public-facing web stack.
Lead the diagnoses and troubleshooting of production application
issues.
Promote and drive innovation in technologies, processes, and tools
consistent with the Now Platform.
Work with federal Product Owners and Scrum Teams to capture,
synthesize requirements/desired outcomes, decomposition, backlog
refinement, and breakdown of user stories and tasks.
Engage and interact with client stakeholders; provide thought
leadership and support to client Product Owners and
constituents.
Represent GovCIO at industry conferences, federal forums and Media
and Research events.
Work collaboratively with GovCIO colleagues to mature the GovCIO
SNOW capability and talent pool.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or related field; Masters Degree
is a plus
8+ years experience with ServiceNow development and the Now
Platform including ITSM, App Engine, Integration Hub, Mobile
Studio, andAutomated Test Framework
Certifications
Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
ServiceNow Application Developer
Federal Enterprise Architecture Certification or equivalent
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain Public Trust

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected
for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base
pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors,
including market location, job-related knowledge, skills,
education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation
package for this position may also include other compensation
elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired,
employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves
the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary
payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons
related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual
department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range
USD $185,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
