*Summary of Position:*
The Commercial Sales Rep. is responsible for prospecting,
developing, and capturing new customers. Sales are generally
diverse falling within the commercial or industrial sectors. There
is also an account management aspect for this role that adds
marketing, promoting, and cross-selling additional MWH products and
services to existing and potential customers. The ideal hire could
develop strong customer relationships leading to high customer
satisfaction while meeting sales and profitability goals.
This role will work closely with inside sales and warehouse staff
to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion.
*Must be willing to make 8-10 sales/cold calls daily!*
*Responsibilities for Commercial Sales Rep:*
* Sell, service, and promote Midwest Hose product line to external
customers
* Help brand the Midwest Hose product line and offerings
* Develop business strategies to raise customer pool, expand store
traffic, and optimize profitability
* Develop and implement new sales initiatives
* Initiate and maintain business relationships with customers
primarily in the oil field at rig locations and with local field
office personnel
* Sell to prospective customers using either pre-established leads
or leads self-sourced
* Meet sales goals by providing training, motivating, mentoring to
MWH staff
* Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
* Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies
and procedures
* Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising
standards
* Maintain issues that arise from staff or customers
* Provide on-the-ground support for sales
* Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess
the quality of our company's relationship with them
* Track and report of sales data to leadership teams
*Qualifications and Requirements for Commercial Sales:*
* Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within
sales and management
* Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a
variety of tasks
* Proficiency in assessing, profiling and analyzing merchants'
needs and proposing customized proposals
* Critical thinking and reasoning to provide customer support and
satisfaction
* Prior hose and rental sales experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Solid computer skills such as typing and navigation through
various computer programs including MS Outlook, Excel, and Windows
OS
* Compassionate and patient customer service skills
* Ability to retain product knowledge
* Commitment to work additional hours as needed to complete orders
received daily
* Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
* Ability to prioritize and manage time
* High attention to detail
*Education and Experience for Commercial Sales:*
* High school diploma or GED (required)
* 1-3 years of hose experience (highly preferred)
* Prior industry or commercial related sales experience
(required)
* Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
