TERRITORY ACCOUNT MANAGER (OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE) - MID TO SENIOR LEVEL SALES EXPERIENCE JOB TYPE: Full-time SALARY: Base salary pay + commission for on target earnings of 90k to 120k Harrison Contracting Company is a nationwide painting contractor seeking a regional Territory Account Manager (Outside Sales Representative) for our new Baton Rouge office. The ideal candidate would be a results-oriented individual with verifiable experience in painting service sales (required). The Outside Sales Representative will be building a brand new territory across the Southern Lousiana/Baton Rouge region reaching out to clients across the business (retail, industrial, etc.), hospitality, government, education, and other industries. This position reports into the Division Manager and will not require in-office time outside of Friday weekly meetings. About Harrison Contracting Company: Since 1995 we have provided quality Painting and Facility Maintenance for our clients. With almost 25 years in the industry, we pride ourselves on providing quality services in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Over the last two years we have completed more than 6,000 building repaints using over 350,000 gallons of paint. We approach every project from a team-oriented point of view. Every project is assigned a project manager, a general superintendent, a job-site foreman and qualified painting personnel. Our ongoing commitment to excellence has aided us in establishing quality relationships with many clients, general contractors, and suppliers. Harrison Contracting is a privately owned company incorporated in the State of Georgia in February of 1995. Website: Territory Account Manager (Outside Sales) Job Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company services to new and existing customers in the southern Louisiana market: The territory will be Lake Charles to Hammond (west to east) and the I-10 freeway down to the coastline/ocean (north to south).
  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential growth for assigned accounts; soliciting new contacts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
  • Prospect new business opportunities and outbound sales calls daily (new territory - all hunting role)
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Help create and edit existing sales material to present to customers
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
  • Reports to the Division Manager at Baton Rouge office
  • Ability to attend Friday weekly status meetings at our office: 11114 Cedar Park Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 Territory Account Manager (Outside Sales) Job Qualifications:
  • Previous outside sales experience (over 5 years preferred)
  • MUST have experience selling painting, re-imaging and re-painting services to commercial clients
  • Experience thriving successfully in a heavy hunting role and building new territory
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation and client rapport-building skills while being deadline driven
  • Willingness to travel locally 100% of time, but no overnight travel required
