Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Oncology position requiring an active LA or compact license and ONS chemo certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital Oncology unit specializing in med/surg oncology care - Night shifts (3x12 hours) from 19:00 to 07:30 - Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 - Will perform procedures including bone marrow biopsy, central line management, and blood/bone marrow transplants - Required to float within the MS Oncology and other Med/Surg units - Uses EPIC EMR system and previous experience is required - Weekend and holiday shifts required based on unit needs - No on-call responsibilities - Primary responsibilities include managing oncology patients and performing specialized oncology procedures - Must avoid requesting time off between 2/13 and 2/22 due to Mardi Gras staffing needs - A 75 mile radius rule applies for eligibility - Former permanent employees at any related facility must have a one-year separation before being considered for travel roles - Holiday coverage is required as part of the expectation for this position /n /n Requirements/n - Active LA or Compact RN license required - Minimum 2 years of oncology experience required - ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy course certification required - Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and ONS - CPI certification preferred - Experience with EPIC EMR required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-657430.
